A student at the Royal College of Art in London in the 1960s, Kitaj worked with an exceptional group of students, later to become the Pop Generation. In 1997 he moved to Los Angeles, where he continues to live and work. This new book contains a wide-ranging interview with him, a selection of his finest paintings, drawings and prints, and previously unpublished images from his personal archive.
