文辞浅白雅达，全面系统，入门佳书

看不太懂毕竟不是专门研究的

Feel more comfortable to use it as a textbook than 敦煌學十八講 as there is a short anthology of transcribed manuscripts at the end of the book and more technical discussions are included to equip the reader with necessary skills. Though, if the standard of senior introductory text is applied, I would prefer Rong's to this book.
