翻译很平易近人，语言非常现代，读起来语言上不会有很大障碍，但是这样也会在翻译中失去一些该严肃艰涩的地方…？

为了跟尤利西斯对照阅读买的，封面和毛边装帧都好美。Emily Wilson的翻译轻灵敏捷干脆，不失文学性和韵律感。偶有几处用词太现代有点跳戏，整体流畅通顺。Intro第一页说到epic这个词有误导性，让人觉得史诗一定宏大辉煌，然而从词源看，a epic poem本质上只是一个被讲述的故事。始终读不进富丽堂皇气势磅礴译本的我终于在Emily Wilson的帮助下读完了奥德赛。
