这本书的阅读体验很愉悦，作者描绘了各种神似科幻小说的场景，雇佣人类员工的AI，街上密密麻麻的无人驾驶汽车，刷墙无人机，机器园丁，球员满天飞的橄榄球赛（作者怕不是哈利波特粉丝），而这些大部分（除了魁地奇[奸笑]）都可能在未来25年内实现。作者的目光没有局限在表面现象上，而是深入讨论了这个未来世界面临的经济、法律、伦理问题。作者认为，人工智能的发展将为社会创造巨大价值，“只要我们能够找到公平分配收益的方法”，我们就拥有光明的未来。站在人工智能时代的入口，国家和个人都面临新的挑战。迎接我们的是光明还是黑暗呢？我虽然没有作者那么乐观，但是非常好奇。容我借用靖王和郡主对梅长苏说的话，“那我等着看”。

这本书的单词、句子难度有点超出我的阅读水平，时常有读不明白的地方。作者描述了一个大量职业被AI取代的未来，着重在谈对可能产生的贫富差距拉大，赢家通吃的结果的担忧，并且给出自己的解决方案。我的读前问题之一：我要怎么面对这样的未来？书中的答案：终身学习，去匹配市场需要的技能，总有技能是人所独有的，AI不是万能的。
