Cesar Hidalgo leads the Macro Connections group at the MIT Media Lab and is an Associate Professor of Media Arts and Sciences at MIT. Hidalgo is a trained physicist experienced in the study of Complexity in Social and Economic systems, and also, a pioneer in the development of tools to visualize Big Data.

很认同书的第五章，其它部分内容觉得不是很带劲。跨界作品，主要提出一种新视角，却没能很好地阐述观点。另外，书的标题起的太大了。

思路的确是开天辟地级别的。上一次读到这么跨学科的东西还是《失控》。但是论证和举例重复度有点高，没有失控那么充实的感觉

读了一下中文版里翻得不清不楚的地方，结果发现，大都属于译者补脑式的翻译。要不是为了省时间，以后应该一律拒看中信的译本，特别是团队式的翻译。
