休謨的英國史讀完瞭，本冊從查理復闢，到1688年光榮革命，一個改變世界的政治體製革命，竟然沒有流血，英國人的德行，還是上帝的榮光？我感覺更可能是一種大環境下的小概率路徑進化吧。喜歡年鑒派史觀，也喜歡休謨這種充滿個人價值觀的熱情史觀。一句話，天不生大英，萬古如長夜！
