著者簡介

施米特1888年齣生在德國西部的一個小鎮，天主教徒，從小喜好文學、藝術、音樂、哲學、神學。在大學獲得法學博士學位後，一邊研究新康德主義法理學，一邊寫論瓦格納的華彩文章。1916年，施米特發錶瞭一部從政治哲學角度論詩人多伯勒的長詩《北極光》的專著，從此開始瞭其長達半個世紀的政治思想生涯。

對政治哲學實在emmmm 中間對humanity的論述還是喜歡的

確實是刀刀見血，”but absolutely no liberal politics, only a liberal critique of politics”。施密特對自由主義的批評核心大約在於兩點（1）自由主義去政治化的方案在根本上是無視最基本人性現實的幻想，作為敵我之分的政治本身是人性最核心的特徵（2）歐洲公法傳統的陷落直接指嚮瞭一種dehumanized的absolute enmity，更加恐怖的非人暴力恰恰是來自絕對敵意。

該版本含有施特勞斯的評論。施特勞斯看齣，施密特一方麵想確立政治之於哲學的優先性，卻訴諸基督教倫理，從而使自己陷入另一個普世的、反政治的陷阱。
