說要破除偏見，其實自己的偏見就很深，哎╮(╯▽╰)╭

非常有意思的一本comparative history。引用瞭大量一手文獻來考察科技和racist thinking之間的關係。

一戰是個非常重要的時間節點，但是由於章節設置不閤理，其實深度並沒有完全體現齣來。

題目很宏大，但是有些時候難以自洽。前幾部分有點隔靴搔癢的感覺，僅僅隻是描述現象，沒能真正思索內在的思想史根源。到最後二十世紀，又不可避免地迴到西方中心論的觀點，可惜最終也迴避瞭對這種西方中心論的評判，甚至提不齣一個替代性的方案。
