这本写的真好，意料之外的好看。作者各方面知识丰富，象征和暗喻运用自然得当，剧情流畅人物刻画有深度。重要的是三观相当正，不圣母也不偏执，在同类小说里是私货相当少的了。文风也是正好喜欢的类型，叙述优美但是干净简洁。“The ocean was there momentarily, filling the horizon, and then it was in his rearview mirror, reduced to a nine-by-three-inch strip. The first curve erased it.” 除去这句的象征意义，真是这几年看过的最舒服的环境描写。
