the book show me the whole world of fashion, but that's not the point, it is Waris Dirie's life stories which consisted of dangers and struggles and finally she became stronger that touch me. Not only did she made life abundant and happy but she also helped a lot of other African women to get rid of the suffering of circumcision.

这是一本很有缘分的书。好几年前的时候，看过电影的影评，但是不知道是什么电影。后来，去年老师说要读一本英文小说，就去图书馆里仅有的少数外文图书里面找。因为都是大写，所以就随便拿了一本。正好就是这一本，打开看了一下介绍的时候，发现居然是这本，二话不说就去登记了????。每天断断续续的读完了，真的觉得Dirie.很大胆，她的这种心态与勇气可能是我永远学不来的吧！很少看人物传记，所以，这是我目前看到的最好的，感觉最真实的。后面写这个report的时候，写了好几页的英文稿。写完之后才发现。。。老师说只需要200词左右????。很爱这本书
