It's beautifully sad and delicately touchy. If Luis Borges' maze is mainly invented by rhetorics in the physical sense, then Virginia Woolf's maze is mainly invented by rhetorics in the spiritual sense. And I should say Eugene O'Neil's <Ah Wilderness> is a name that fits perfectly the content of this story.

在周日傍晚看着天色一点点暗去，能感受到还未成形的焦虑和失落感在胸口升腾起来。可以在这样的时候读的书。年度最爱。

（短评放不下，所以写在长评里）伍尔夫的小说永远值得我记着笔记，看第二遍第三遍。回顾整个文本，我想最主要的三个人物是莉丽和拉姆齐夫妇，三个人的关系感觉是拉姆齐夫人拥有面对生活的勇气与秘密，莉丽作为画家是探索者，她始终试图寻找这个秘密，而拉姆齐就是在夫人的荫蔽...  

全书分为三大段。从故事层面来看，第一部分讲述了拉姆齐一家和他们的客人在度假岛上的一个下午的各种事和晚餐；第二部分时间飞速流转，故事前进了十年，在这十年中，拉姆齐夫人和她的一双子女都已死去，岛上的一切尤其是他们的房子遭到长期的废弃，末尾为了他们的再次到来而得...  

前言 止庵 　　　 伯·布莱克斯东在《弗吉尼亚·吴尔夫：一篇评论》中说：“阅读了《灯塔》之后再来阅读任何一本普通的小说，会使你觉得自己是离开了白天的光芒而投身到木偶和纸板做成的世界中去。”这代表了有关《到灯塔去》的一种看法；读过此书的读者，也许还有别的...
