几次的旅行中断断续续地看了其中几个短篇，没感到有多么好啊。文字简洁，但和王尔德相比差远了。内容虽然也有曲折，但并不引发深思。总之个人不是很喜欢

坚持读了一半决定还是先算了吧不爱农村题材的小说不管是中国的还是外国的...

第一篇To reach Japan好. 门罗的文字有种独特新鲜的味道。喜欢。(这是刚看了一两篇的感觉)。看完之后，惊奇，为什么一位84岁的加拿大女作家的作品会直接进到我的心里？果然有些东西是没有界限的。没错过这本，真幸运。

Most stories in this collection bored me to tears. Zero-tolerance with its overly detailed yet banal depictions of women’s psychology, especially with their obscure, bizarre, and quite naive fling/crush/fascination/affection towards cruel/rude/egotistic/cowardly male figures. Such a depressing book.
