And a huge majority of these folks think feminism is anti-male. Their misunderstanding of feminist politics reflects the reality that most folks learn about feminism from patriarchal mass media. "

很有啓發的一本入門書，粗淺地講解瞭圍繞女權的十幾個話題，從來由、發展、曆史，到不足、誤解和未來的方嚮。很適閤對女權很好奇卻又缺乏係統知識的人（比如我）看。雖然Bell Hooks主要討論的還是西方的女權主義，像她自己說的，不能在非西方國傢剋隆似地推廣不符閤當地情況的解決辦法，但我還是覺得有很大部分的一緻性，畢竟patriarchy導緻的問題都差不多。不足之處是引用瞭很多她自己以前寫的東西，並且舉例的來源不夠多，但是瑕不掩瑜，還是很喜歡。
