社区中的人们没有感情，生活连黑白都不是，是灰色的，所有的东西似乎都可以用一抹影子来替代。因为畏惧悲伤，孤独，所以连快乐幸福的权利也放弃。抽离了人性，我们与机器没有什么两样。但是正是这样可以维持一个有秩序的社会。其实根本就没有什么elsewhere，小说中整个人类世界都是模糊的。在我看来，最后Jonas和Gabriel应该是去了天堂，而最后看见五光十色的世界就像卖火柴的小女孩最后看到的祖母和圣诞大餐一样。 感觉the giver到后半部分的定位有点乱，或者是我读得太糊涂。 不管怎样，这是别人家的儿童读物。 看完书之后看到自己的影子突然感觉有点奇怪，脑子里全是天呐我是人类头发还这么长这是一副怎样的躯壳我是怎样的存在啊啊啊好神奇然后天呐你在想什么。这大概就是阅读的后劲儿吧。

有点无聊。。。

最后的地方，也许是真的elsewhere，现实中不存在的虚无，Jonas记忆里仅存的希望，那是洒满阳光的天堂。
