看得齣作者為瞭寫這本書下瞭很大的功夫，各種背景知識和社會曆史文化的考證引用，基本都有齣處。文筆也很好，並不會讓人覺得枯燥。觀點也相當客觀。我對當時Nantucket整個社區或者當時整個社會對獲救船員的反應和對待覺得很驚奇。好書，強烈推薦（英文版）
