It doesn't have enough economic motivation and examples to appeal to practical-minded readers, and it isn't rigorous or elegant enough to please mathematicians.

I use this for my math econ course every fall. It is quite comprehensive, but I don't like it much. I need to draw from many different sources to make the course flow better.

学校在用的研究生阶段经济数学教材，感觉最大的特点就是对于各个相关数学定理的详细证明过程及与经济学的相关性，对于不往宏观经济学发展的学生来说，本书足以应付硕士阶段大部分的数学要求~

if u have a solid background in math, it's a great book of leading u toward econ. Otherwise, keep away from it and try the textbook written by Chiang

Quite comprehensive almost everything you need in Math and also talks a lot about Econ. However, I do not think the author is very good at explanation. So you do not feel the concept or process is as clear as what you got from the Chiang's book. Since I hav...
