Lots of detailed descriptions which make the book disenchanted to read. The author had depicted a beautiful scenery in 19th century's New England area in the beginning parts of the story. The book, named Summer, ended the whole story in a chilly winter. Charity conceived Harney's baby and got married to his step father. Charity finally grown up.
