故事簡單，語言易懂。但是沒有震撼力。我覺得Carrie沒什麼錯兒，在夢想傢看來，她絕對是一個靠good nature和韌勁一步步走上巔峰的實乾者。倒是那幾個自我中心的傻逼男人有點可笑，Hurstwood活該的肺炎死掉。有兩處地方打動瞭我：一個是描寫carrie的，She has enough imagination to be gloomy. 另一處是Carrie拋棄Hurstwood的時候，他恍然若失的樣子。

I read the 1920s edition of this piece at Beida 10 years ago. The yellowed and crisp pages easliy brought me back in to the days of the late 19th century.
