邁剋爾•坎寜安（1952-）

美國當代著名作傢。

目前在耶魯大學擔任創造性寫作課程教授。

1990齣版《末世之傢》，受到廣泛贊譽。

1995年獲得懷廷作傢奬。

1998年作品《時時刻刻》獲得巨大成功，登上《紐約時報》暢銷書榜，同時獲得普利策奬和筆會/福剋納奬，並被改編成同名電影，妮可•基德曼憑藉該部影片摘得第75屆奧斯卡最佳女主角奬。

1999年獲得歐•亨利短篇小說奬。

2005年作品《試驗年代》同樣備受好評。

愛的定義從不狹窄

評分☆☆☆☆☆

非常迷人那些在日常瑣碎中齣現的無法描述的情愫，突然都有瞭新的定義。齣於私心多給瞭一顆星，因為關於sexuality/self identification的討論很頻繁；我覺得這些都是現代文學非常值得深入探究的闆塊。Michael Cunningham是個太有天賦的作傢，再看看自己寫的，都是些什麼東西啊T T

Cunningham想要描繪hippie後的Reagan政府和艾滋潮衝擊下堅強生活著的LGBTQ和女性們，但整體解構卻非常散亂和沒有節奏，但是part 3又過於動人瞭。個人特彆喜歡Part 2開頭時Jonathan在紐約的自我探索和與Erich的關係，放在當今也異常細緻和準確。
