美国当代著名作家。

目前在耶鲁大学担任创造性写作课程教授。

非常迷人那些在日常琐碎中出现的无法描述的情愫，突然都有了新的定义。出于私心多给了一颗星，因为关于sexuality/self identification的讨论很频繁；我觉得这些都是现代文学非常值得深入探究的板块。Michael Cunningham是个太有天赋的作家，再看看自己写的，都是些什么东西啊T T

Cunningham想要描绘hippie后的Reagan政府和艾滋潮冲击下坚强生活着的LGBTQ和女性们，但整体解构却非常散乱和没有节奏，但是part 3又过于动人了。个人特别喜欢Part 2开头时Jonathan在纽约的自我探索和与Erich的关系，放在当今也异常细致和准确。
