看瞭近200頁。果然是“分析哲學”，並沒有涉哲學史的內容。但就其話題而言，這難道是可以分析的嗎？“理客中”本不能抵達，而且甚至毫無必要——至少這點他還是承認瞭。文風透著某種“不把話說太滿”的“閃爍其詞”的學院式狡猾。

非常有啓發性的一本書，Nagel以非獨斷的方式，用主觀-客觀之間的張力勾連起並試圖調和瞭理論哲學與實踐哲學的諸多問題，也為許多問題為什麼糾纏不清提供瞭很好的解釋。每個問題討論到最後仿佛都看得到他幽幽地告訴你，這些問題之所以難以解答，正是因為我們就是這樣一種注定在主客之間的天地生活的生靈啊……

The problem of the relation between mind and world is intriguing but hard. Nagel argues for a form of realism according to which there might be something that goes beyond our ken:unthinkable and unintelligible. His opponents, idealists, holds an opposite view: what there is must be thinkable. I am writing a paper to argue against Nagel's argument.

主觀／客觀／實在／觀念／內在／外在／心靈／世界。OMG！這本書首尾偶覺得寫的還不錯，其他基本上沒咋看明白。我在想，作為一個智力正常的現代人在思考問題的時候是否會用到這些語詞？沒救瞭，哲學就是俱樂部內部的自娛自樂。雄心勃勃的分析哲學到頭來還不是變成瞭屌絲樣？深刻？繼續裝吧？看來，這世界上能清晰地闡明一個實實在在的道理的人實在是太少瞭。
