刚看就被细致入微描述生活场景的开头吸引了；the stories pa told them; ...... the cousin Charley was stung by bees, and that served him right;

语言简单，流畅，娓娓道来的感觉，兼职就是一部舌尖上的美国！一年四季，勤劳勇敢的爸爸妈妈准备四季的食物，在大森林里孤单的小木屋非常温暖，Marry和Laura也很懂事乖巧。好遗憾小时候没能看过这样的书！

各种细节非常有意思，对生肉的处理(烟熏、腌渍）等详细到位，可以看作是开拓者时代的准确介绍。另外有本书整理了这个系列里面提到的所有菜谱。

语言很简单，但是单词量还不少，有的真心听不懂。故事虽然简单，但是很温馨也很有趣，很多细节都很好笑。一家子在林中其乐融融，自然安详的生活真是很幸福。8.4吧，很不错。

《小木屋系列丛书》，非常不错，孩子的姑姑送给他的。别看这套书装帧朴实，内容却是超级棒。描写优美，叙述流畅，章节中心突出，内容浅显有趣。现在每晚都给孩子读一到两章。连我也爱上这套书了，辛苦了一天，坐在灯下，跟着小罗拉，体验拓荒时代的美国田园生活，是一种不错的...
