那么多年过去了我仍然很难喜欢结构主义，但也不得不承认这本书的纲领性作用……

巴特的思想动态性很强，An Introduction to the Structural Analysis of Narrative 还是对早期结构主义叙事学的，The Death of the Author 已经显露出后结构主义的倪端。

A good book, but a little difficult to understand

"It is necessary to overthrow the myth: the birth of the reader must be at the cost of the death of the Author."

巴特的思想动态性很强，An Introduction to the Structural Analysis of Narrative 还是对早期结构主义叙事学的，The Death of the Author 已经显露出后结构主义的倪端。

I've been reading this book for hours and don't understand a thing yet... A textbook for my contemporary film theory class at the U of Iowa. A collection of Roland Barthes' most influential essays translated into English.  

第一部分是可视对象的书写，我自己读得比较high的地方是对于“动作”（他还是沿用古希腊的drama“动作”这层含义喔！）、“艺术”和“身体”的“书写”~前面的关于摄影的和纯符号的部分我是拿来辅助阅读《符号学原理》和《今日神话的》。但是有些地方根本读不通，囫囵过去了。

第一部分是可视对象的书写，我自己读得比较high的地方是对于“动作”（他还是沿用古希腊的drama“动作”这层含义喔！）、“艺术”和“身体”的“书写”~前面的关于摄影的和纯符号的部分我是拿来辅助阅读《符号学原理》和《今日神话的》。但是有些地方根本读不通，囫囵过去了。

羅蘭巴特在這本書中提出了一個著名的口號：“作者已死”。在他以及很多解構主義擁躉看來，理應為文本附加意義的，是文本的閱讀者而非創造者。這觀點和文學理論中“文本開敞性”相似，都在相當大地程度上否認作者對文本的解釋權，而給予後來的閱讀者相當大的參與討論和決策權。...
